WELL THEN LET'S GET STARTED WITH...

10 Weirdest Variants From The Comics Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Needs To Include

Throughout the Marvel Multiverse, there are thousands of Earths, each of which includes new iterations of most Marvel heroes.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is scheduled to premiere on May 6, 2022, but everyone has been talking about it since it was announced.

The film is a pivotal moment for the introduction of the Marvel Multiverse into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will surely change the MCU as fans know it.

Of course, like they were with Spider - Man From Home, Marvel has taken a very secretive approach when discussing Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, so fans can only imagine what the movie will bring – especially when it comes to variants.

Throughout the Marvel Multiverse, there are thousands of Earths, each of which includes new iterations of most Marvel heroes.

Some of these variants are very similar to Earth-616's heroes, but others change them completely, merge them with one another or even turn them into a different species.

These variants aren't likely to get a main role in the MCU, but hopefully, they'll at least get a cameo in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

10.Steve & Peggy's Daughter As Captain America

Sharon Rogers is Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter's daughter from an alternate universe –Earth-415 – where Captain America was never frozen in ice.

Instead, the hero married Peggy after the war ended and started a family. Their daughter, Sharon, grew up to become the next Captain America after her parents retired.

In the comics, Steve and Peggy didn't get to spend their life together, so Sharon Rogers is a counterpart for Sharon Carter, Peggy's niece.

However, in the MCU, Steve travels back in time to be with Peggy, which means they could have a daughter on at least one Earth.

Sharon Carter's appearance in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness would be a nice wink to Steve's life far from the Avengers.

9. Hulk 2099 Comes From One Of The Darkest Timelines

Set in a time when there aren't any heroes left, Marvel 2099 depicts a world where America is controlled by corrupt megacorporations and the people worship mythologized versions of the Marvel heroes as gods.

On this Earth, John Eisenhart is Hulk 2099, a version of Jade Giant created by the Knights of Banner – a cult that experiments with gamma rays in an attempt to recreate their hero.

With razor-sharp fangs, dangerous claws, and a Venom-like tongue, Hulk 2099 is one of the most savage characters in the Marvel 2099 universe.

If Marvel were to include this dark timeline on Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of MadnessHulk 2099 would be an epic adversary for the main heroes.

8.Mustang Is The Son Of Hawkeye & She-Hulk

What If...?#114 follows the events of the first Battleworld in Secret Wars, showing what would have happened if the heroes never left that universe.

As it turns out, all Marvel heroes trapped in the #114 reality are living regular lives.

Some have married each other and even have kids. Clint Barton Jr., aka Mustang, is Hawkeye and She-Hulk's son.

He possesses the marksman expertise of his father and the superhuman strength of his mother.

Clint Barton Jr. isn't the only interesting character in What If...? #114.

Others, like Bravado (Thor and Enchantress' son) and Torrent (Wolverine and Storm's daughter), have been wrongfully forgotten in this comic's pages, despite their potential.

Maybe the MCU could give them a second chance in a Multiversal cameo.

8.Fans Would Learn More About Yelena With The Wastelanders' Black Widow

Wastelanders: Black Widow #1 follows an older Yelena Belova fighting for her life on Earth-807128 – an alternate future where supervillains won.

In this comic, the Black Widow attempts to infiltrate King Lizard's fortress to retrieve information to help the remaining heroes against Red Skull. As she battles him, readers get to learn more about her past.

With Natasha Romanoff dead and her sister, Yelena set to take the Black Widow mantle, the only thing missing is for Marvel to officially introduce her.

Yelena's Wastelanders variant would finally establish the character as the new MCU Black Widow. Additionally, it'd open the door for a third-age hero, which hasn't been seen before.

6.Iron Hammer Combines Thor & Iron Man

After Gamora accidentally created the pocket dimension called Warp World in Infinity Wars#3, many heroes were fused with one another.

Stark Odinson, aka Iron Hammer, is a combination of Iron Man and Thor. He's an arrogant heir with an armor suit that gets recharged using the Mjolniron: a cold iron hammer.

Just like Thor and Tony, Stark Odinson can be too much, but his heart is always in the right place.

For instance, he's a founding member of the Warp World's Defenders. Now that Tony Stark is dead and Thor is dealing with his own stuff in outer-space, Iron Hammer would be the perfect way to honor these two O.G. Avengers.

5.Croctor Strange Is The Doctor Strange's Reptile Version

Croctor Strange or Steamin Strange is a reptilian iteration of Stephen Strange who comes directly from Earth-8311, an alternate Marvel universe full of humanlike animal counterparts of Marvel's Earth-616 heroes. Like Doctor Strange, Croctor Strange is an expert on mystical arts.

Granted, Croctor Strange and most of Earth-8311's heroes feel more like a joke than anything. However, the MCU isn't a stranger to bizarre humor.

Funnily enough, if Steamin Strange were to appear on Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madnesshe wouldn't be the first reptilian incarnation of a Marvel hero. That title belongs to Alligator Loki from Loki Season 1.

4.Scarlet Warlock Is A Gender-Bent Scarlet Witch

Of unknown name, Scarlet Warlock is Earth-127 Scarlet Witch's counterpart who only appeared in Exiles #85 and #86.

In these comics, he's merged with Earth-127's Wolverine, Mesmero, Quicksilver, and Magneto to create Brother Mutant, a powerful superbeing with these four characters' powers.

Scarlet Warlock is only a male version whose time in the Marvel Multiverse is short-lived.

He has the same powers as Wanda, so he wouldn't really bring anything new to the MCU. Regardless, gender-bender is one of the fandom's favorite tropes.

Surely the fans would get a kick out of fan casting if Marvel announced Scarlet Warlock's appearance.

3.Hobart Brown Is Spider-Punk

Also known as the Anarchic Spider-Man, Hobart Brown is an Earth-138 foul-mouthed teenager who gained Spider-like abilities after a spider irradiated by illegal waste dumping bit him.

He's the leader of the Spider Army that fought against President Osborn's regime in Spider-Verse. His aesthetic, as his ideology, is all about punk. In fact, one of his main weapons is his electric guitar.

It's unlikely the MCU could give Spider-Punk a whole storyline on Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. However, there's always space for a new Spidey. Maybe Hobart could appear in a small cameo, only to show the wide range of Spider-Man variants that the Multiverse holds.

2.Weapon Hex Merges X-23 & Scarlet Witch

Another Warp World merge, Laura Kinney, also known as Weapon Hex, is a mix of Scarlet Witch and X-23.

Like it happens with most heroes in this alternate universe, her powers are a combination of Wanda's and Laura's.

Laura Kinney has retractable adamantium claws and an enhanced healing factor. Additionally, she can control chaos magic to alter reality itself.

Weapon Hex is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive Wanda variants in the Multiverse.

Since Scarlet Witch herself is already as powerful as they come, it would be truly epic to see Scarlet Witch battle such a mighty version of herself.

1.Sir Stephen Strange Is The Perfect Wink To 1602

Doctor Strange's Earth-311 counterpart, Sir Stephen Strange, is a former slave who works as the official physician of Queen Elizabeth I on Marvel 1602 – Marvel's Elizabethan alternate universe. I

In this comic, Sir Stephen Strange discovers the multiverse after communicating with Uatu the Watcher.

Like the MCU's Doctor Strange, he's tasked with saving reality. However, it costs him his life.

Marvel 1602 is one of those self-contained stories in the Marvel Multiverse that could make an excellent TV series.

Maybe the first step towards a show about this universe is to show Sir Stephen Strange as he learns how to save the multiverse alongside his MCU's iteration.
